The uP-GaN drive solution is characterized by no optocouples, built-in protocol, fewer components, low cost, and high integration. Other zero-standby solutions on the market all use optocouplers or magnetic couples, with Diodes and Renesas being the only mass-production suppliers so far. Other companies are still in the pre-production phase. Other solutions feature external protocols and require more system components, resulting in significantly higher system costs compared to our fast-charging solutions.
